Principle of this Absorber

It involves the neutralization of acid mist emissions using an alkali solution.
As the gas stream rises through the tower, the acid mist particles come into contact with the alkali solution. The alkali reacts with the acid mist, resulting in a neutralization reaction. This reaction can be represented as follows:
Acid mist + Alkali → Salt + Water
The acid mist is neutralized, and the resulting salt and water are collected at the bottom of the tower. The alkali solution may also absorb other acidic gases present in the gas stream, further reducing the overall acidity.
